WEEK 1 ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Field Trip for Ice Skating tomorrow.
* Wear VBS T-Shirts, long sleeve sweat shirt, long pants, long socks, gloves,
helmet, skates if you own pairs.
* Bring bagged lunch, snacks, water bottle
* We will be watching movies when we return to church at 1:15pm. (pack shorts)
* Pick up time @ 3:00 PM
2. Tutoring
There are seven tutors available teaching, [Reading/ Writing/ Math/ ESL].

3. Grand Prix Waiver Forms (4th-8th Only)
Please see the attachment. One parent sign and the other parent witness.(need both parents signature) On the back have your child sign & print, one of the parent sign on the witness. Grand Prix is being very strict about this form. Please take time to fill out.
4. Links for Adventure Park Waiver Forms (3rd-8th Only)
We will be going to the Adventure Park at Discovery Museum for our Week 3 Field Trip. In order for you child to participate, please make sure to use this link and fill out the online waiver form: www.smartwaiver.com/w/53165f038111b/web/
5. Lunch Volunteers
A chart of parent lunch volunteers is attached. If you have not signed up, please do so.If you cannot, please make sure to drop off $10 to the office.

7. World Vision Nepal Mission Funds
Recently there have been many earthquakes in Nepal, leaving thousands of citizens injured and without food, water, and shelter. Our VBS has decided to raise money to help support the people of Nepal by donating to World Vision. Your children have been divided into two teams based off of where their grade sits in the main sanctuary durgin Morning and Afternoon Services (Left or Right). Because of this, the two sides compete to raise more money than the other team. We would encourage you to donate money to help support the cause, and you child’s respective team! 8. New Lunch Menu
A revised lunch menu is attached.
9. Snacks
Due to many students not eating breakfast, teachers decided to add in 10 min snack time for 1st-5th graders. Please bring nut free/ healthy snacks.
