Week 2 Announcements

WEEK 2 ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Field Trips Tomorrow -Please see attached for field trip lists.

Liberty Science Center (1st-3rd)

• Wear VBS T-Shirts, and CLOSED TOE SHOES (ex: sneakers, crocs, etc.)
• Bring bagged lunch & snacks with a water bottle.
• DEPARTURE TIME: 9:15 AM

Grand Prix (4th- 8th only)

• Wear VBS T-Shirts, Long Pants, CLOSED TOE SHOES/SNEAKERS WITH SOCKS.
• Bring bagged lunch
• PLEASE ARRIVE BY 8:45 AM
• 4th-8th Graders will board bus upon arrival.  VBS Staff will be on the front steps to check-in your child.

2.  Links for Adventure Park Waiver Forms (3rd-8th Only)

We will be going to the Adventure Park at Discovery Museum for our Week 3 Field Trip. In order for your child to participate, please make sure to use this link and fill out the online waiver form: www.smartwaiver.com/w/53165f038111b/web/

3. Lunch Volunteers

A chart of parent lunch volunteers is attached. If you have not signed up, please do so. If you cannot, please make sure to drop off $10 to the office.

4. NO POKEMON CARDS.  

Pokemon cards are not allowed at Summer VBS.  Please speak with your children and let them know that pokemon cards will be taken away if seen.

5.  iPAD/Tablet Policy.  Please discuss with your children our policy on iPads and Tablets.  They are to be used only during designated classroom hours.  If these devices are seen being played with outside of required classroom hours (i.e., during worship, lunch, etc.) they will be taken by the staff and given only during the designated classroom hours.  

6. World Vision Nepal Mission Funds

Recently there have been many earthquakes in Nepal, leaving thousands of citizens injured and without food, water, and shelter. 7. Picture Day- 7/22 Wednesday! Please wear VBS T-Shirts.

8. Change of Catering Co. for Lunch.

Starting from next Monday, We will be using different catering company. We’ll send out a new lunch menu as soon as possible.
